It’s hard to believe that it’s the end of 2024, and I’ve not written more about Carrie’s Sugar Buzz on the Best Bakeries In… Blog. Carrie’s Sugar Buzz is easily one of the best bakeries in the state of Ohio, and really the United States. I’ve traveled the country extensively, and this product has few equals.
Nestled in the heart of New Albany, Ohio, Carrie’s Sugar Buzz is a home-based business that regularly serves up smiles and delight. It boasts a distinctive, even addictive, taste. Once you taste its products, you are sure to want them again and again.
I’ve patronized this business for over a year and I’ve never been disappointed with their product, presentation or professionalism. Whether you need a cake for a wedding, birthday party, baby shower, or a church or business event, I highly recommend Carrie’s Sugar Buzz.
How I Learned About This Home-Based Business
My cousin Brittany ordered a cake from Carrie for my birthday a couple years ago. I’m a connoisseur of sweet things and to be honest, I didn’t think the cake would leave me speechless. It did. It was a superior, three-level masterpiece that was covered with a copious amount of vanilla icing. The cake was moist, light and simply delicious. I’ve been ordering from this business ever since. In addition to cake, I enjoy her cookies and cupcakes too.

One of the things I love about Carrie is that I don’t need to give her a lot of insight on design. She always makes beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes which reflect my personality and event theme.
The other endearing thing about Carrie is that she and her husband are consistently pleasant. I am always happy to see them and she makes me feel that she is always happy to see me too. You can tell she bakes not because she has to, but because she enjoys it. She seems genuinely delighted to see the smile on my face when I see the latest thing she’s whipped up.
Most recently, I celebrated my other business’ open house and commissioned a cake from Carrie. I shared with her that I wanted a vanilla cake with vanilla icing. I sent her my company logo. With these minimal instructions, she made a decadent cake with icing so sweet that it rivaled the cake itself.
